Chlorosulfonic acid was used as an active, low-cost and reusable solid catalyst for conversion of ketones and aldehydes to corresponding gem-dihydroperoxides using 30% aqueous hydrogen peroxide at room temperature. The reactions proceed with high rates and excellent yields.Downloads
