Focus and Scope

JAC is a scientific, international, peer-reviewed and open access journal devoted to the field of Chemistry and provides rapid publication of articles frequently in its issues. JAC publishes original review papers, as well as auxiliary material such as: Research Papers, Case Studies, Review Articles and Reports etc. JAC is the place for exchange of information and research results within all areas of Chemistry, Science and allied fields.

Journal items can be published collectively, as part of an issue with its own Table of Contents. Alternatively, individual items can be published as soon as they are ready, by adding them to the "current" volume's Table of Contents.

Journal Metrics

1. Google-based Impact Factor (2017): 1.131

The impact factor (IF) or Journal impact factor (JIF) normally referred to is the proprietary journal impact factor from Thomson Reuters calculated based on the Web of Science (WOS) and published in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR). Currently, this journal has not been indexed in Thomson Reuters JCR. Therefore, its official JCR IF is not yet available.

However, Google Scholar now provides an alternative Google-based impact factor. Google Scholar is the only openly available database suitable for journal metric calculation. It has a wide coverage and is a meaningful source. For this reason, KHALSA PUBLICATIONS is calculating its own Impact Factor by applying Thomson Reuters'(TR) algorithm based on Google Scholar's citation counts.

2. h-index (February 2018): 9

The h-index is an author-level metric that attempts to measure both the productivity and citation impact of the publications of a scientist or a scholar.

h-index is the largest number h such that h publications have at least h citations.

Digital archiving policy

This journal permits and encourages authors to post items submitted to the journal on personal websites or institutional repositories both before and after publication while providing bibliographic details that credit, if applicable, its publication in this journal.
